Signal lantern

Hand held lantern. Alloy body with wooden handle. Single trigger coupled to sliding shield around bulb. Fixed concave reflector. Telescopic sight bracke fitted to top of instrument with rubber eyepiece. Selector switch at rear of instrument for mains or battery opeation and for varying degrees of brightness. (An alloy plate has been added which restricts movement of the switch). Lantern body separates at midway point to allow access to electrical connections etc. The two halves are secured by hinged clamping bolts. Lantern is fitted with 16ft of rubber covered cable and a two pin plug. In fitted wooden box 16.5 x 6.25 x 9" (42 x 15.9 x 22.8cm)
