Star plotter
Plastic position line protractor.
A position line protractor made of cellulose-based plastic. It consists of: a semi-circular protractor marked from 0 to 90 by 1 degree in each quadrant; a horizontal scale marked 'POSITION LINE' and divided from 0 to 12 by 0.5 in each direction from the centre point, with a slot for marking the position line; and an extension rule marked 'INTERCEPT' with a scale divided from 0 to 20 by 0.5. The linear scales are in miles for use on a chart at a scale of 1:250,000.
