Gunner's quadrant
This is a gunners quadrant and is used to determine the elevation of a gun barrel. A spirit level is attached to the pivoting arm. A plumb bob and box are included.
Vernier and spirit bubble level.
Lead plumb bob and scale.

Used in Gunnery to find the correct elevation of the barrel of a cannon or mortar so that the shot would reach the target.
