Islamic quadrant
This is an Islamic quadrant. The front is marked with an astrolabic quadrant and the reverse with a sinical quadrant. This instrument is used to both determine the time and to work out Islamic prayer times. Its own case and a compedium of instructions (in Turkish and Arabic) survive. It is made for the latitude of 39 degrees, very rare for an Ottoman quadrant.
