Scales: 1. Range ring graduated in yards from 1,200 to 18,000.
2. Height ring graduated in feet from 15 to 200.
Optics: Telescope of fixed power focussed by rotating eyepiece. Object glass split into two equal halves. One half providedes the datum, while the other half can be moved by operating the working head. The object when viewed, appears as a superimposed image.
The face of the instrument has ine fixed ring which carries the range scale.
A milled knob, beneath a protective cap on the body of the instrument,is provided for coincidence adjustment.
In fitted wooden box 10.5" x 8.8" x 5.5" (26.7 x 22.5 x 14.0 cm) containing two adjusting keys, spray shield, and an instruction booklet.
