Rangefinder

A long based rangefinder, graduated from 250 yds to 20,000 yds. The body of the rangefinder is covered in leather, and has two folding handles on the underside. One end has adjustment knobs marked: 'SCALE READING' (RAISE & LOWER)' and 'UPPER / IMAGE' (LOWER & RAISE). Metal plaques on the ends also list the various international patents and give the maker's name. A canvas carrying strap is attached via the ends of the rangefinder. It is contained in a wooden case which also holds an eye shield and electrical lead. The end of the case is now missing.
