Seekreiselsextant

The sextant has a casing of aluminium and artificial materials, housing optical equipment, a clockwork averaging mechanism, electrical equipment, and a rubber eyecup.

The sextant has a scale measuring from 0° to 80° by 30 arcminutes, and a vernier measuring to 1 arcminute.

The instrument is contained in a rectangular fitted wooden carrying case containing four shades, three grey and one red, two batteries, five light bulbs, a plastic suspension strap, and instructions for use in German. The case is marked on the side, ‘2006’.
