Level
Level in oak case. It consists of a heavy brass bar 70.5cm long, fitted at each end with sights of the hair and slit type, one of which has a screw adjustment and the other a brass plummet. On the centre of the bar is a 10" spirit level, having two right and left scales of 10 divisions for accurate reading. At the sides are two 16 inch telescopes with cross wires to read in opposite directions.
