Telescope-18.9" (48.1cm) long, O.G. dia. 1.25" (3.2cm). Inverting (complete with cross wires). Is focussed at O.G. end. A spirit level in brass casing 6.6" (16.8cm) long is attached to underside of telescope.
Stand-The telescope is mounted on a brass stand 10.6" (27cm) long by a brass hinge at one end, and a jointed screw with knurled knob for levelling at the other. A tripod socket head is attached at centre of underside of stand.
compass-Dia. 3.9" (10cm) mounted at centre of stand (below telescope). Fitted with a tapered edge bar needle 3" (7.6cm) long, with a jewelled pivot cap at centre. Graduated to 8 points, quadrantaly in degrees, and anti-clockwise to 360 degs. A needle lifting mechanism operated by a brass knob at side of bowl is fitted.
