Semi-circle-Brass 3.7" (9.3cm) radius. Graduated 0-90, 0-90. An engraved rectangle at centre is graduated in hours 0-12-0, 0-12-0, and inscribed VMBRA, VMBRA, RECTA, VERSA. Decorated with scroll work.
Arms-Two brass arms 7.25" (18.4cm) long with brass points are attached to lower part of semi-circle, one pivoted at centre, the other fixed. Each fitted with a small sight vane at end.
