Three leg stand with screw adjustable feet for levelling telescope, clamped to central axis with rotary and slight vertical motion. Centre stage with 360 degs scale , 4 verniers and 2 microscope readers. Scale and screwthread attachment for fine adjustment of substage telescope and of second plate carrying verniers and second telescope. Second telescope transit mounted on A"A type frame, with 360 degs vertical scale with 2 verniers and reading microscope, screwthread fine adjustment ratchet focussing adjustment, and cross thread eyepiece with 2 detachable spitit levels and wooden case.
