Prismatic Monocular
Prismatic monocular theodolite for observing meteorological balloons. Small magnification. Finder monocular and high-powered observing telescope in both of which the eyepiece is set at right angles to the object glass. Major movements of the horizontal and vertical circles are by friction plates. Both are fitted with tangent screws. Tabular compass with sliding locking device. Three levelling screws-two levels. Enclosed horizontal scale 0-360 degs with 2 verniers reading to 6'. Vertical semi-circle scale 10-0-190 with vernier reading to 6'. Electric connections for use at night. Original metal cover fitting over base.
