Pocket telescope

This non-achromatic telescope has three draw tubes made of green vellum and a leather barrel with gold-tooled decoration. The other fittings are made of lignum vitae and brass, including sliding objective and eyepiece lens covers. Stop lines on the draw tubes (shown by rings of black dots) indicate the telescope's optimum working length.
