Pocket telescope
This achromatic telescope has a beech wood barrel and four brass draw tubes. The brass fittings include an objective lens cap and a pivoted eyepiece cover.
The maker's name is inscribed on the smallest draw tube as 'Dollond London'. Rough maker's marks, such as the letter 'V', are crudely inscribed on two of the draw tubes.
