Pocket telescope
The barrel of this small telescope is made of mahogany. The three draw tubes are made of brass, as are the fittings, which include a pivoted eyepiece cover. The objective lens cap is missing.
The size of the telescope when closed suggests that it was designed as a personal accessory to fit in the pocket.
