Pocket telescope
The tapering barrel of this achromatic telescope is covered in leather. There are two brass draw tubes and brass fittings, including a pivoted eyepiece cover. The telescope is held in a leather case with a strap, on which the name 'TIBBETTS BATH' is stamped. There are also some faint remains of an inscription on the smaller draw tube. This telescope once belonged to Captain Oliver Stokes RN, as did NAV1681.
