Teapot with lid
Teapot and lid, part of a teaset said to have been used by Emma, Lady Hamilton (circa 1765-1815). The teapot is white, decorated with beige panels, gilding and sprigs of coloured flowers. It is a round, facetted shape and stands on a scalloped foot, with a knop on the lid in the form of a flower. The handle is scroll-shaped.
