Large two-handled loving cup on a short stem and round foot. The white-glazed earthenware body has blue and brown hand-painted decoration including scattered sprigs of flowers. The cup is inscribed: 'Admiral Nelson for ever' and 'T: Bannister Lincoln 1798' within brown and blue borders. Latticework and a flower border are painted inside the cup, and there are scrolls on the handles and a spiral pattern on the foot.
