Tureen
Creamware soup tureen marked AAA4766.1 is part of a dinner service. Transfer-printed in black on the sides of the base and both ends of the lid marked AAA4766.2 is an oval stipple engraving of Rear-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) after Edridge (see PAD3895). The tureen has wide handles, a domed foot and a lid with a loop handle surrounded by hand-painted decoration in black, and a hole for the ladle. The base and handle also have black hand-painted rims.
