Mug
A small earthenware mug celebrating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). It is painted with two deep brown bands with yellow wavy lines, dots and green leaves, between which is a blue painted inscription: 'Success to Nelson'. The handle is painted with a brown wavy line and is modelled where applied to the body with crude acanthus leaf terminals.
