Jug
Creamware jug, transfer-printed in sepia on one side with a portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805), inscribed 'ADMIRAL LORD NELSON', 'TREFALGAR (sic) 1805', 'NILE 1798. COP'. A laurel spray is placed above the portrait and naval trophies below. On the other side of the jug is a port broadside view of a warship under sail, 'BRITONS NEVER SHALL BE SLAVES' on a ribbon below it.
