Teapot with lid

A lozenge-shaped teapot with a lid, transfer-printed in blue. On each side are two mermen with tails entwined, blowing shells, who act as supporters to a central scallop containing a trophy of arms inscribed 'TRAFALGAR', flanked by a pyramid and fort; a pre-1801 Union Flag flies above. A key pattern border runs around the top of the teapot with anchors, roses, thistles, tied palm and olive branches. There is also a thistle printed on the spout, and this pattern is repeated on the lid. There are ochre coloured borders to the scalloped top and on the handle.
