On the other side, a representation of a naval action; 'VICTORY' above. There is an inscription opposite the handle, with a naval trophy above 'HORATIO LORD VISCOUNT/NELSON/VICE-ADMIRAL OF THE WHITE./Knight of the Order of the Bath/Duke of Bronte in Sicily/Grand Cross of the Order of Ferdi/nand and of Merit and Knight of/the imperial Order of the/Crescent', 'Copenhagen, Nile, Trafalgar'. A floral border with trophies of arms runs around the neck, with another border of laurel on the inside. The handle is decorated with random transfers, including lettering.
