St John; St Essylt

Scale: Unknown. A model depicting both the St John and St Essylt made entirely of wood with metal fittings, partly painted in realistic colours with painted and drawn fittings and details. The hull is painted pale grey with a brick red stripe at the waterline, a narrow white line running the entire length of the hull, white bulwarks and a white superstructure. All the decks are unpainted. The long foredeck has a derrick mast with two booms and a cargo hatch. The forward cargo deck has a pair of derricks serving two cargo hatches. The main superstructure is placed amidships and fittings include a bridge with bridge wings, enclosed pilot house, a single squat funnel painted red with a black top and a company logo and four lifeboats. There are two aft cargo decks each with a cargo hatch served by a pair of derricks and a derrick mast with four booms. Vessel details are inscribed on the underside of the model.
