Brown glazed mug with a white interior, transfer-printed in yellow. On one side, an oval portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805), small ships in the background, and trophies behind, above the portrait 'ADMIRAL LORD VISCOUNT NELSON' below 'ENGLAND EXPECTS EVERY MAN TO DO HIS DUTY'. On the other side, ships in action, 'VICTORY' is inscribed above. Opposite the handle is a print of naval trophies. A laurel border runs around the rim of the mug.
