Mug

Creamware mug, transfer-printed in black and hand-coloured, with an oval portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). Ensigns and trophies are placed behind the portrait which is flanked by a seaman to the left and Britannia on the right. Below it is inscribed 'ADL LORD NELSON', 'Born Septr 26th 1758 Died Octr 21st 1805'. The engravers monogram 'LN' is included in the design.
