Jardiniere
A terracotta, moulded jardiniere with two lugs in the shape of dolphin heads. On one side, in relief, a half-length portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) with oak sprays behind. On the other side, the prow of a classical single-masted ship with naval trophies. The top rim is moulded in imitation of cane binding. AAA5031 and AA5032 are a pair. The maker's mark is impressed on the base.
