Bulb pot, transfer-printed with a sepia portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). Inscribed around the portrait 'England expects every Man to do his duty', 'ADMIRAL LORD NELSON', 'Born Septr 29 1758-Died Octr 21 1805 Aged 47'. On the left side is a view of a boy and girl playing with a butterfly and to the right, chasing a butterfly. The bulb pot has moulded and scalloped rims, decorated with oak leaves and masks, semicircular green feet and is finished with blue painted lines. The flower holder is missing. AAA5035 and AAA5036 are a pair.
