Jug
Pratt ware jug with moulded decoration in relief coloured blue, ochre, brown and green. On both sides a three-quarter length figure in cloak and hat, left hand on hip, his right holding a speaking trumpet. Single-masted ships are placed to his left and right, and dolphin heads appear in the sea below. On one side only, a scroll inscribed: 'LORD JARVIS' Admiral of the Fleet John Jervis, 1st Earl St Vincent (1735-1823). The neck and base of the jug have moulded decoration painted in blue and ochre and there is a border of guns and spearheads in relief below the neck.
