Jug
Pratt ware jug moulded in relief with profiles representing Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) and Rear-Admiral Sir Edward Berry (1768-1831). The figure inscribed 'Admiral . Nelson' is facing left to the left of the handle. Berry is on the other side, facing right inscribed 'Captain . Berry'. Their coats are painted blue with yellow lace and they have ochre order ribbons and brown hats. The sea in the background is painted in green stripes, the ships on it with blue and orange spotted sails. The moulded inscriptions around the neck are coloured blue with a fleur de lis border above. The jug has a brown painted rim. Berry was Nelson's Flag Captain at the Battle of the Nile in 1798.
