Jug
Pratt ware jug moulded in relief with profiles representing Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) and Rear-Admiral Sir Edward Berry (1768-1831). The figure inscribed 'Admiral Nelson' is facing left to the left of the handle. Berry is on the other side, facing right inscribed 'Captain Berry'. The inscriptions are in uncoloured, moulded lettering around the neck. The figures are painted with blue coats, green hats, yellow lace and waistcoats. In the background, the sea is coloured green with a ship on either side of each portrait with brown sails. The rim of the jug is decorated with fleur de lis coloured blue. The jug is crisply moulded. Berry was Nelson's Flag Captain at the Battle of the Nile in 1798.
