Pratt ware jug moulded in relief with profiles representing Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) and Rear-Admiral Sir Edward Berry (1768-1831). The figure inscribed 'Admiral Nelson' is facing left to the left of the handle. Berry is on the other side, facing right, inscribed 'Captain Berry'. They have black hats, blue coats and yellow lace, the order ribbons are uncoloured. The inscriptions are moulded on the neck and painted in brown. In the background, the sea is painted green with a ship on either side of each portrait. The jug has a brown rim and a loop handle with a moulded acanthus leaf painted brown. Fleur de lis are moulded around the neck. Berry was Nelson's Flag Captain at the Battle of the Nile.
