Pratt ware jug moulded in relief with profiles representing Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) and Rear-Admiral Sir Edward Berry (1768-1831). The figure inscribed 'Admiral Nelson' is facing left to the left of the handle. Berry is on the other side, facing right, inscribed 'Captain Berry'. They have blue coats with yellow lace, brown hats and orange order ribbons. The inscriptions are moulded on the neck very indistinctly. In the background, the sea is painted green with a ship with brown sails on either side of each portrait. The jug has a brown rim and fleur de lis are moulded around the neck. Berry was Nelson's Flag Captain at the Battle of the Nile.
