Ajax (1809)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the gun deck of the Ajax (1809) a 74 gun third rate ship of the line, converted into a screw blockship in 1846. The drawing bears the signature of J. Fincham [Master Shipwright at Portsmouth Dockyard 1839-1852] There is a tear on the left hand edge and another two tears on the right hand edge of the drawing.
