Flag, Polish Minister of Marine
Flag of the Polish Minister of Marine reputedly flown on the first submarine to escape from the Russo-German occupation of Poland in 1939.
A printed wool bunting flag with a machine sewn linen hoist containing a rope. The flag is swallow tailed and divided horizontally white over red. In the upper part is a red shield bearing a white, crowned eagle displayed, with a white foul anchor in the lower part of the flag.
