Plate
White earthenware soup plate from German battlecruiser 'Moltke' 1910. It is printed on the border in blue with a German Imperial crown. The plate was recovered from the seamen's mess when the ship was salvaged in 1927 after being scuttled at Scapa Flow on 21 June 1919. The maker's name is printed on the base.
