Bellerophon (1907)
Scale 1:48 Plan shows the sections, as fitted, of the Bellerophon class battleship Bellerophon (1907). The drawing shows section frames 26, 37, 54, 66, 86, 951/2 looking forward and frames 164, 187, 201 and 218 looking aft. The drawing shows alterations at Portsmouth yard in vermillion ink, dated February 1911. It also includes further alterations at Portsmouth yard in Prussian Blue ink dated February 1912. Further alterations at Devonport yard in chrome and green ink, dated November 1915, are also included on the drawing. There are two Portsmouth Yard Constructive Department stamps dated 17 May 1909 and 23 MArch 1911, on the left hand side of the plan. A stamp from the Devonport Yard Constructive Department, dated November 1915, is included underneath the Portsmouth yard stamps. A note on the drawing states to seek seperate sketches for ventilation, pumping arrangments and the stowage of magazine and shell rooms.
