A white saucer with a blue border and gold edge, as used on Captain Robert Falcon Scott's Antarctic expedition of 1910, in 'Terra Nova' 1884. The saucer is printed with the badge of the expedition - a penguin sitting on an ice floe within a garter inscribed: 'BRITISH ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION, TERRA NOVA R.Y.S.' The maker's mark is printed on the base.
