Tureen with lid and stand
White porcelain tureen with lid and stand, used on HMY 'Victoria and Albert' 1899. The items are decorated with gilding, the gold rims scalloped. On the front of the tureen is the royal monogram 'ER VII'. The tureen and stand each have two handles in the form of rings interlaced with ribbon. There is a similar single handle on the lid. The tureen stands on four feet decorated with acanthus moulding. The maker's name is printed on each item.
