Saucer

A white porcelain saucer with a slightly indented gilt rim as used on the royal yachts. There is a thin blue line around the edge. The retailer's name 'J. WHITMAN COWES ROYAL YACHT' is inscribed on a garter badge with a queen's crown above, printed on the base. Also on the base, the painted pattern number '5300 4' and an indistinct impressed maker's mark and date code. There are three similar items in the collections AAA5429, AA5430 and AAA5432.
