A white porcelain saucer with a slightly indented gilt rim, as used on the royal yachts. There is a thin blue line around the edge. The maker's mark is indistinctly impressed on the base with a pink, printed garter badge with a queen's crown above, inscribed with the retailer's name 'J. WHITMAN COWES' .
