Plate
A porcelain dinner plate, similar in design to the 'Hope Service'. A central painted roundel depicts a half-length classical figure en grisaille holding a laurel wreath and standing beside an altar where flames consume military trophies. It is surrounded by gold decoration including swags of foliage. The rim of the plate is scalloped and the border painted in blue, gold and white. A crescent mark is painted on the base.
