Cheerful (1897)
Scale: 1:48. Plan shows the inboard profile, all decks and hull sections, as fitted, Hawthorn Leslie 30 knotters torpedo boat destroyer Cheerful (1897). The plan includes a Chatham Dockyard Chief Constructors stamp dated 30 March 1900 and a second stamp dated 5 June 1900, bearing the signature of the Chief Constructor W. James. The drawing also shows alterations made in green ink at Sheerness Dockyard dated 15 September 1905. A Sheerness Dockyard stamp on the plan bearing the signature of the Chief Constructor Edwin Beaton. The drawing also shows alterations made at Chatham Dockyard in violet ink. There is also a Portsmouth Dockyard Chief Constructor's stamp dated 30 April 1914 on the left hand side of the drawing.
