Porcelain plate commemorating the coronation of King George V (1865-1936) and Queen Mary. The plate is painted with head and shoulders portraits of the king and queen; he is wearing naval uniform. A crowned royal monogram 'GR V' is shown below and 'CORONATION 1911' is inscribed above the portraits. The plate has a gilt rim with a wavy edge and moulded decoration. The maker's mark is printed on the base.
