Earthenware plate, printed with oval portraits of George V (1865-1936) and Queen Mary, surrounded by roses and flanked by the Canadian ensign and Union Jack with a crown above. On a ribbon above the portraits is inscribed 'TO COMMEMORATE THE CORONATION OF GEORGE V & MARY JUNE 22ND 1911'. At the top of the transfer are two shields, one with the arms of the Governor General of India. A warship is shown on the lower part of the plate. The design is printed in brown and hand-coloured in blue, red, yellow, green and pink.
