Plate
An earthenware wall plate. It is coloured yellow and black, glazed and has a gilt rim overprinted with a design of leaves. In the centre is a print based on a photograph of the Prince of Wales later Edward VIII (1894-1972), in the uniform of a naval cadet. The plate has holes in the foot rim so it can be hung on a wall. The maker's mark is printed on the base.
