National flag of Finland (after 1918)

The national flag of Finland from 1918. It is made of synthetic fibre bunting with the fabric of the hoist a cotton and linen blend. The flag is machine-sewn, with a rope and two clips attached. It has a white field with a blue Scandinavian cross.

This is the civil flag and ensign adopted on the country's independence from Russia in 1918.
