Scale 1:96. A plan showing the sheer lines with details of decoration and sail arrangement, half-plan view and body of the armed paddle steamers 'Alert' (1826), 'Dasher' (1826) and 'Mercury' (1826). The plans show mountings for two guns, and the rig is unusual for comprising four lateen sails.
Construction of the first two is attributed to Daniel Brent of Rotherhithe, and the last to Thames Shipbuilding Co.
