Scabbard
The white fish-skin scabbard has two lockets, and a chape of embossed silver gilt (or gold?). Inscribed on the top locket is 'OMNE NAUTAR. DERIC. MEO SUBIRE PARA.' [All maritime dangers I am prepared to undertake.] and on the mid locket is 'JEFFERYS & JONES.'
