Items found 9 miles east of Cape Herschal, and on the east side of Montreal Island.

A box containing items found lying about the skeleton located 9 miles east of Cape Herschal, consisting of a tie of a black silk neckerchief, fragments of a double-breasted blue cloth waistcoat with covered silk buttons and edged with braid, a scrap of a coloured cotton shirt, silk covered buttons of a blue cloth great coat, a small clothes brush, and a horn pocket-comb. In the same box are further relics found on the east side of Montreal Island consisting of part of the rim of some strong copper case, a piece of iron hoop, two pieces of flat iron, an iron hook bolt, and a piece of sheet copper.
